Recommended budget-friendly accommodations in Cebu - Pacific Cebu Resort (세부 가성비 리조트 추천 - 세부 퍼시픽 리조트)
A budget-friendly resort with amazing value!
It features four swimming pools with varying depths and even a white sand beach where you can swim in the sea.
Last Chuseok, I traveled to Cebu...
I booked my flight two days in advance and reserved the Pacific Cebu Resort just a day before heading there.
A resort where entry is only allowed after identity verification at the main entrance. They checked our faces while we were in the taxi, contacted the front desk, and then let us in. Security is definitely well ensured at this accommodation!
The view from the room! I have no idea why I don’t have any photos of the room itself..😓
On the first day, when I woke up, the sea was full of water, but on the second day, the water was gone...😱
It seems that the tides here are quite drastic as well!
This is the scenery within the resort.
Follow this path, and you’ll find the perfect photo spot! Even my wife, who doesn’t like taking photos, took plenty here!
A white sand beach in the resort where you can swim in the sea!
During my entire 3-night stay, I don’t think I saw anyone else swimming there besides me...
There’s always a reason why people avoid certain places. 😂
First of all, there were no waves at all... and the water was surprisingly shallow.
I don’t have a photo, but opposite the beach, there were two swimming pools.
One seemed to have a depth of about 2.5 meters,
and the other was shallow enough for anyone to enjoy!
But why is it that hardly anyone came here? 🤔
Most of the guests swam in the pool next to the breakfast area.
Maybe… it was hidden well enough that people didn’t even know about it?
Thanks to that, we had the pool all to ourselves, swimming and relaxing in peace! 😊
This pool is utilized as a training area where the resort offers scuba diving lessons.
After practicing in the pool, they proceed to the open water, where diving takes place in the sea right in front of the resort!
The left side of the yellow line is the deep section, and if I remember correctly, it was over 3.5 meters deep.
During my 3-night, 4-day stay, the only person who swam in that pool was… me. 😂
If the staff hadn’t said, “You can swim here! Go ahead and try,”
I would’ve assumed it was off-limits for swimming and wouldn’t have even tried. 😅
The resort sky… It looked like that, but suddenly, it brought wind and rainstorms.
When I think of the Philippine sky, I can’t forget both its beautiful appearance and the storm clouds it carried. It was truly impressive.
Pacific Cebu Resort is said to have been nicknamed a "place of exile" among Filipino guides.
The reason? When guides brought their guests here, there was absolutely nothing for them to do.
And it’s true—unless you’re swimming, the resort doesn’t offer any recreational facilities or activities to enjoy.
Leaving the resort is also quite inconvenient, as it’s located in such a remote area that you need a car to get anywhere.
However, for those who love swimming, this resort could be a great destination.
With four types of swimming pools, including an infinity pool, a scuba diving pool, and a shallow pool, as well as the opportunity to swim in the sea, it has plenty to offer for water enthusiasts.
